ترك ابراهيم الصنم الاكبر ولم يحطمه حتى يقيم على قومه الحجة {فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَاذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرًا لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ} [الأنبياء:58].
حيث اخبرهم ابراهيم عليه السلام ان هذا الصنم الاكبر هو الذى حطم الاصنام الصغيرة حتى ينفرد بالعبادة وسالهم ان يسالوا الاصنام التى تكسرت حتى تجيب وهو بذلك اقام عليهم الحجة بان تلك الاصنام ما هى الا حجارة لا تنطق ولا تنفع ولا تضر ولا تسمع ولا تري وفهم قومه انه يستهزئ بهم

Ibrahim left the big idol intact to prove a point to his people. He informed them that the big idol had destroyed the smaller idols, challenging them to ask the broken idols for answers. By doing so, Ibrahim established that the idols were just stones that could not speak, hear, see, or benefit them in any way. This led his people to realize that they were being mocked, and they eventually understood the futility of worshipping idols.
