شدة عاقبة أمرهم يتحسرون على ما ضيّعوا ، و فرطوا ، قائلين : يا ليتنا كنا أطعنا الله تعالى و رسوله في الدنيا حتى لا نبتلي بهذا العذاب الأليم ، ثم يلقون باللائمة على من كان سبباً في غوايتهم و اضلالهم عن الصراط المستقيم.
Their punishment is severe as they regret what they have wasted and lost, saying: “If only we had obeyed Allah and His Messenger in the world so that we would not be tested with this painful punishment.” Then they blame the one who led them astray and misled them from the straight path.
