لانه في الاساس قد انشق نادي الاتحاد عن النادي البحري الموجود بجدة ، وذلك لرفض ابناء الطبقة العليا الراقية انضمام ابناء الخدم والرقيق للأندية الخاصة بهم… فأطلق ابناء الطبقة الراقية على فريق الاتحاد الذي انشق عنهم “نادي الخدم”.
