علل ابراهيم لابيه على بطلان عبادته للاصنام بان قال له
“يَا أَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِي عَنْكَ شَيْئًا” [مريم ٤٢].
ففى هذا إنكارٌ على أبيه لعبادتة للاصنام التى لا تسمع ولا تبصر
وهو في الوقت نفسه إعلان ببطلان عبادة الأصنام العاجزة.
Ibrahim criticized his father’s worship of idols by questioning why he would worship something that cannot hear, see, or benefit him in any way.
