Beethoven’s “Death Symphony” tells the story of Beethoven isolating himself in the mountains, with his close friend secretly taking his compositions to publish them. While traveling one day, he became exhausted and hungry, seeking shelter with a family who welcomed him warmly. The host suggested his daughters play the piano for Beethoven, who despite being deaf, noticed the family’s emotional response. When asked about the composer, the family revealed it was Beethoven himself. He played the symphony but stopped midway, overcome with pain, before passing away.
