ماء البئر في الصيف بارد وفي الشتاء حار لانه في الصيف تكون درجة الحرارة في الأعلى أكثر من الأسفل لذلك يتبخر سطح المياه بصورة أكبر مما يساعد في إبقاء المناطق السفلية باردة، أما في الشتاء تكون درجة الحرارة في الأعلى أقل من الأسفل مما يجعل المياه أكثر حرارة من الهواء.
In the summer, well water is cold and in the winter it is hot because in the summer the temperature at the top is higher than at the bottom, so the water evaporates more, helping to keep the lower areas cool. In winter, the temperature at the top is lower than at the bottom, making the water warmer than the air.
