يختلف عدد ايات كل جزء في القران من جزء لاخر لان هناك ايات قصيرة واخري طويله وقد تحزب القرآن الكريم إلى ثلاثين جزء و كل جزء إلى حزبين وكل حزب إلى أربعة أرباع و كل ربع إلى ثمنين و يسمى كل جزء بحسب السورة التي يبدأ بها لكن غالبا ترقم الأجزاء و لا تسمى و تختلف بعض أسماء الأحزاب بحسب اختلاف طبعة المصحف.
The number of verses in each part of the Quran varies because some verses are short while others are long. The Quran is divided into thirty parts, each part divided into two halves, each half into four quarters, each quarter into eight sections. Each part is named according to the chapter it begins with, though parts are often numbered rather than named. The names of the parts may vary depending on the edition of the Quran.
